GOC417953-CT-SHI-PHASE 2 - Contractor-Phase 2 Replace boilers, associated equipment and distribution system

 
Scope of Work/Overview:
Work of this Contract comprises removal of existing heating piping and associated wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters and installation of new heating systems. The contractor shall supply and install all heating systems and accessories such as associated wall fins, convectors, cabinet unit heaters, piping, valves, controls and building automation system (BAS), etc... A brief description of scope of work is as follows:

1. 1. 1. 1. Demolition and removal of existing wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters, piping, piping supports, power wiring, control wiring and conduits.
         2. Provision of installation of wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters, heating piping, piping supports, valves.
         3. Provision of electric tracing.
         4. Associated cutting, patching and painting.
         5. Interfacing and integration of new wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters with existing building automation system.
         6. Provision of piping and equipment identification.
         7. Equipment start-up by factory trained personnel of the manufacturer(s) c/w reports.
         8. Testing, commissioning, adjusting and water balancing.
         9. Flushing, cleaning and chemical treatment of heating system.
         10. Completion of CMMS forms.
         11. Associated electrical and controls work.
         12. Include relocation of all existing mechanical, plumbing, electrical services, hangers, supports as necessary to allow for installation of proposed work as identified in drawings and specifications.
         13. Provision of closeout documents including operating and maintenance manuals.
         14. Training of staff and demonstration of operations.
         15. Include all cost associated with expediting of shop drawings for wall fins, convectors and cabinet unit heaters. All shop drawings shall be submitted as one package. All shop drawings shall be submitted within one week of the award of the project. Allow for one meeting at the consultant’s office to review all the shop drawings.
