Description

Refer to project plans and specifications for specific scope.
Work included, but not limited to:
Provide new emergency power system and all associated electrical distribution
Modifications; Decommission and remove existing diesel generator, diesel fuel, fuel storage tank and all associated piping, connections & wiring; Provide all temporary power connections during construction to maintain building services and occupant operations. All cut-overs and shut-downs shall be during quiet hours; Modify natural gas service and metering and provide all new connections; Provide all new equipment, system supervision and monitoring connected to existing systems; Complete systems verification and commissioning.
RCMP site specific clearance is required for contractors, and subcontractors as noted.

Event Note

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Failure of a Bidder to attend a mandatory Site Visit, properly register, sign the BGIS Site Visit Sign-In Sheet and remain present for the duration of the Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Bidder’s Bid.`

Bidders are expected to examine carefully the site(s) at which the Deliverables are to be provided, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their Bid a sum to cover the cost of all items contemplated in the Contract.

In the event that less than three Proponents attend the site tour, BGIS may cancel the solicitation or schedule an alternative site tour.
