GOC2466261-CS - Space Optimization project Floors 7 & 8

Space optimization project for floor 7 and 8 to accommodate the short to medium term seating requirements as a result of the newly approved TB Submission while PSPC is seeking expansion space. Work will consist of moving the records room (mobile shelving) from room 817 to room 718. Demolish front wall of current records room (817) to allow natural lighting to existing space where new cubicles will be added. Maximize as much as possible the open area on the 7th floor to add modular furniture to accommodate an extra 12 cubicles and potentially more flex desks where possible. Work is to include a capacity assessment to look at HVAC/ Egress/ Sanitary facilities and load bearing capacities in the case of the relocation of the records storages room.  PSPC will be providing the furniture layout & design and will work with the Consultant on board to develop an approved overall design.
