Statement of Work/Overview:

GENERAL SCOPE:
Removal of a section of Sarnafill roofing system, approximately 1500 s.f., and replacing it with a ballasted EPDM roof covering. The building is located at 19 Lisgar Street, in Sudbury, ON. The work generally includes the following as per the Contract Documents:

Remove existing ballast, Sarnafill membrane, insulation, and vapour barrier and replace with new ballasted EPDM roofing, insulation including slope package, cover board, vapour barrier, and flashing. Ballast is to be reused for new roofing system.
New roofing membrane, insulation and membrane accessories are to have 20 year warranty.
Complete leak repair on the interior of the facility which includes drywall repair and replacement of ceiling tiles.
A Designated Substance Survey (DSS) was completed (See Appendix A) and identified asbestos in the caulking used for the flashing. Contractor must review the DSS. Asbestos abatement must be completed prior to construction, by a certified Contractor who must determine the rick level prior to abatement works.
