Description

Remove old material and resurface parking lot - 1350 M2 - restripe lot and replace curb bumpers as required. General deterioration due to weathering and wear & tear. Vehicle pavements throughout consist of asphalt paved driveways and parking areas bordered with formed-in-place concrete curbs.
Consultant to ensure soils are sampled prior to start of construction, outline method of construction for same, and request a soil management plan from the awarded contractor. Consultant to outline in the design that the project will be conducted near a body of water and that this is a listed contaminated site as per Federal Contaminated Sites Registry.
A copy of the previous soil sample reports will be provided to the awarded consultant. Several samples around site have identified higher than acceptable levels of zinc, and molybdenum in some areas.
As such an Environmental Effects Evaluation (EEE) letter must be completed for this project by the successful consultant or sub-consultant.

MAKE SURE TO SUBMIT COMPLETED APPENDIX 2 & 6 IN MERX. IT IS MANDATORY REQUIREMENT.

Should proponent require a formal site visit, arrangements are to be made for security cleared personnel to visit, and be escorted by BGIS and RCMP representative. Notification 24 hours prior to proposed visit time and date is required.

An EEE letter will need to be prepared by the consultant, or a sub consultant able to achieve EEE letter requirements.

By submitting our response to this solicitation, we confirm that we have read and agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of this ITT, and we agree to provide, upon request, all documentation without modification as defined in this ITT.

BGIS reserves the right to reject our submission should BGIS fails to receive the required documentation.
