Description

Refer to project plans and specifications for specific scope.
Work included, but not limited to:
Replacement of millwork in processing room. Contractor to remove and replace all cabinets and countertop. The newly installed countertop will be stainless steel, with steel cabinetry and stainless steel backsplash. Contractor to remove the old sink, and replace it with new. New faucets with an emergency eyewash station will be installed, and separate, stand alone eyewash station. Repairs will be made to the walls (patch and paint) where construction and deconstruction has caused damage. Also, the floor will be re-coated with epoxy flooring. All materials will be supplied by the contractor. Work will be completed during regular working hours. RCMP site specific clearance is required for contractors, and subcontractors as noted.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager at 6080 Riverside Drive, Windsor, Ontario.
Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.
All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
Failure of a Bidder to attend a mandatory Site Visit, properly register, sign the BGIS Site Visit Sign-In Sheet and remain present for the duration of the Site Visit will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Bidder’s Bid.
Bidders are expected to examine carefully the site(s) at which the Deliverables are to be provided, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their Bid a sum to cover the cost of all items contemplated in the Contract.
