Description

Replace Primary Pumps P-301, P-302A and P-302B with new vertical motor type and adding new redundant pumps to the system. Removal and replacement of Secondary Pumps P-303 and P-324 as well as adding redundant pumps to this system. Life cycle replacement of Secondary Pumps P-306A and B. All pump isolation valves and flexible connectors will be replaced with new ones. Installation of stand-by pumps will require the installation of new check valves for all pumps. Existing piping will require modifications to allow for the radiant pumps.
All mentioned pumps except for pump P-303 have (or will have) VFDs. All new pumps (including redundant pumps) will receive their own VFD. Existing new VFDs will be re-used.
This Option would also include all pumps and VFDs be put on the building’s existing Building Automated System (BAS). The new controls will allow stats and control of the pumps and VFDs. The existing/new pumps and VFDs will work in a lead/lag cycling operation.
