Description

Scope of Work
New Chiller has been purachased by Client and the purchase spec is attached (14 pages).

The contractor is to provide all material and labour necessary to provide a complete functioning system utilizing owner supplied chillers and existing building controls.

The work includes, but is not limited to:

Drain hydronic fluid from chiller
Disconnect electrical and controls from chiller
Remove and replace existing disconnect for chiller
Remove and replace existing pump motors
Disconnect and remove hydronic piping, insulation and cladding
Disassemble existing chiller. Move existing chiller to rooftop. Crane existing chiller off roof. Dispose of chiller off site
Chillers will be deliver to site as complete packaged unit by another supplier, paid for directly by the owner. Chillers are to be disassembled to facilitate movement into building and reassembled on site in area indicated by installation contractor. All work to disassemble/reassemble unit will be under supervision of manufacturer’s representative. Manufacturer’s representative will be coordinated and paid for by the chiller unit supplier.
Disassemble chiller in parking into parts that will fit in double man door on roof with manufacturer representative present
Crane new chiller to roof. Reassemble new chiller in place of existing chiller
Install new hydronic piping, insulation and cladding
Supply and install new electrical wiring to chiller
Reconnect electrical controls from building to chiller
Provide fire caulking for all penetrations through fire rated floor and wall assemblies
Filler chiller with hydronic fluid
Support, Attend, and Commission chiller and controls to Third Party Commissioning Agent’s requirements
Contractors requirements for commissioning to be issued as an Addendum
