Scope of Work/Overview:
DFO has requested an update to their space to meet the Government of Canada Workplace requirements. This work entails removal of current enclosed work areas, and a new open office area and supporting functions. The scope will be executed in two phases: Level 1, and then Level 2. DFO is responsible for the move of their staff for each phase, as well as the removal of all furniture and items. Construction will start with appropriate hazardous material abatement, as will be identified in the Issue to Tender design package, demolition, construction, and then furniture assembly. Once DFO has relocated the second-floor staff to level 1, construction will commence in the same way on level 2 as level 1.
