Description

The project is to specifically improve the ventilation system & lighting in JLAC office area located on 1st floor, in Bytown Pavillon, room BT1-200. Mail is opened in the office regularly and dust and airborne particles have become a hazard in the workplace. The ventilation is to be investigated to optimize air flow and address potential for new filtration and exhaust solutions. Lighting levels in the same space are both inadequate and inconsistent. Existing lighting locations, controls, fixtures, and bulb type to be investigated to improve lighting levels and consistency in the office area.

Failure to pre-register will result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

2. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.

Event Note

1. Proponents are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 1.4 of the RFP Lite. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager at the JGD, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Proponents are advised that they MUST preregister via email to Abeera.Akram@bgis.com by June 4, 2020 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site

2. Please bring valid photo ID and appropriate PPE for entrance to mechanical space (may not be required at time of job showing). Please meet outside of Main Entrance to Global Affairs (Sussex Pavilion). COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
