GOC325877-CT - C1 West Washroom Exhaust Upgrades

A new exhaust fan and associated ducting will be installed to exhaust air from the C1 West Washrooms and Janitor’s room directly to the outside of the building. The volume of air exhausted will meet code requirements. The bathrooms were originally designed to exhaust 623 L/s. The original building supply air design would have allowed for 623 L/s supply for the washroom exhaust.  Based on the air balancing report and comments completed by Maxima in 2012, we were unable to determine the cause for the lack of exhaust on the C1 Level even with the system running at 154% of the design capacity. The 2 washrooms in question are open to the Atria ( main Mall ) with no doors and the main supply fan running at 75% capacity with a VFD drive and is more than capable to supply the additional make up air.  The fan will be tied in to the existing BAS.
