Description

Remove the A-frame associated tracks and metal flashings from the roof. Install new cap sheet membrane over all affected areas. Remove old shackles from the travel restraint monorail along the west side of the skylight and replace with new. Secure all loose sections of ice-guards and replace all bent and damaged components. Remove and dispose of a pile of loose cap metal flashings left on the roof. Upon completion of work, contractor to perform a water test of all affected roof areas.

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within item 2.6.15 of the ITT. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the front entrance pavilion at JGD, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Abeera.Akram@bgis.com by August 21, 2020 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site.

Please meet Project Manger at the BGIS Office. Please bring valid ID, work boots, hard hat and face mask. If social distancing is not possible the face mask must be worn.

Failure to pre-register will result in the Bidder's Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.
