Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Installation of Air to Water Heat Pumps.
Remove existing chiller and associated accessories (piping, pipe fittings) as needed. Pipework (from heat pumps to boilers, from heat pumps to AHU’s) to be revised to accommodate the new units.

Provide two air-to-water heat pumps which can provide simultaneous cooling and heating. 300 tons of cooling will be provided as required. For heating, the unit can meet the set point temperature by pulling heat form the ambient as well as recovering the heat rejection from the cold-water operation. Vice versa for cooling. COP will be approximately 3.41 for cooling and 2.4 for heating.

Upgrade electrical system as required.

New replacement will be utilizing R410A refrigerant, which is less harmful to the environment than R22 but provide similar performance and higher capacities than R22.
