Description

Investigate the current condition of the existing roofing system on the main building (circa 1986-87), including sealants at flashings, flashings, penetrations for mechanical and electrical equipment, insulation value and curb/parapet, lower membrane in the event that this can be used as a vapor barrier for new roofing system. New roofing system options to be presented and shall consider improving thermal performance based on life cycle costing and coordination of the rooftop HVAC equipment (decommission, re-commission and temporary HVAC as necessary). Existing main building roof structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab poured over a corrugated steel deck, supported by structural steel joists webbing with an inverted roof with stone ballast tied into a mod-bit membrane at parapet and curbs. The FIS building's roofing system does not form part of the SOW.

Confirmation of intent to attend optional site visit must be sent by email a list of attendees to Shelley.Demont@bgis.com or Machaela.Kincade@ bgis.com no later than 2:00 PM AST/ADT, on the business day prior to the Optional Site Visit.
A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
