Description

Replace all heaters located in main entrances and emergency exits of all four (4) buildings (15 Eddy, 25 Eddy, 1 Place du Portage and 10 Wellington). The heaters were subject to premature deterioration because of prolonged exposure to salt. There is a total of thirty-four (34) heaters. The majority of them are fed by heating hot water apart from five (5) that are electric. The consultant shall also investigate a solution to prevent further salt damage to the heaters. Furthermore, the controls integration and monitoring by the BAS system shall be considered and evaluated.

Failure to pre-register will result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site.

BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the site visit.

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified above. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at Les Terrasses de la Chaudière. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
