Description

This project is initiated to perform duct cleaning of the entire Building. The project will include a pre-air quality test and post-air quality test as well as air monitoring during the duct cleaning process to ensure that no designated substances get released into the air. The last duct cleaning was performed approximately 5-6 years ago. There are five (5) AHUs in the Building. The duct cleaning shall be carried out for all the AHUs from the main supply duct source (from AHUs) to the last diffuser branch for each AHU. This project is recommended by BGIS buildings operations and maintenance staff.

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within item 2.6.15 of the ITT. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Connaught Building – 555 Mackenzie Ave, Ottawa, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Abeera.Akram@bgis.com by September 4, 2020 at 2:00 PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site

Meet at Mackenzie entrance security desk. Steel toes, hard hat, and mask required. One piece of Government issued photo ID required

Failure to pre-register will result in the Bidder's Representative being refused access to the site.
