GOC388630-1-CS - GOC388630-1-CS Replace Underground Storage Tank

Evaluate the fuel oil storage tank volume required to service the building heating demand. Building heating demand to be reviewed in conjunction with age and condition of existing oil and electric boiler systems. Removal of oil boilers and replacement with electric boilers to reduce site GHG emissions to be considered.  Replacement of the existing tank of 20400 l with new one, as required, in accordance with the CCME Environmental Code of Practice for AST & UST systems containing Petroleum and Allied Petroleum products CCNE PN1326 and, applicable codes and standards.  Replace the associated piping, fittings, accessories including but not limited to leak detection, venting, valves, etc. as required, to warrant a reliable, code compliant and, safe fuel system storage and supply. The consultant shall conduct a thorough site visit and provide options for change from oil to electric, a new aboveground location of the tank, considering all site and building conditions. Removal of the old tank and associated components and; the design, installation and connection of the tank system detection/controls to the building BAS shall comply with the applicable national and provincial codes and standards.
