Description

.1 In general the scope of work consists of maintenance inspections in alignment with the CMMS Preventative Maintenance Schedule, the National Electrical Code, and ‘Electrical Safety Authority (ESA)’ guidelines.
.2 Scope of Work Shall Include
.1 Replace existing main fire alarm control panel.
.2 Replace existing annunciator panel.
.3 Replace existing auxiliary devices as required.
.4 Replace remaining horn devices with horn/strobe devices.
.5 Install rail hood over the new fire alarm panel complete with EMT weather tight connectors per the recommendation in the 2017 BCR.
.6 All existing wiring would remain in place.
.3 Provide lamicoid labels identifying circuit numbers on end-of-line device. Update as required for any changes to zoning.
.4 Provided laminated single line diagram and laminated fire alarm addressable list and install alongside the new fire panel.
.5 It is the Contractors responsibility to provide all labour, material, equipment and supervision to complete the repairs outlined in this specification taking into account all site conditions, noise restriction, work area restrictions, protection requirements, accessibility restrictions, etc. No extras will be entertained for inconveniences after the award of this Contract.

Note d’événement

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the 120 Wellington St., West, Chatham, Ontario. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by September 15, 2020 before 2PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.
COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
