Description

Consultant to investigate upgrading interior lighting system to LED with Energy Star rated fixtures. The consultant to review the LCCA and GHG impact of a re-lamp/re-ballast option as well as a fixture replacement option. The locations are as follows:
3rd floor
- ACOA
- BGIS office
- Commissionaire's
- Corrections Canada
- Hallway and foyer to BGIS office
1st floor
- CBSA
- NRC and adjacent open space
- Laboratory
- Hallway to loading bay and loading bay/recycling area
2nd floor
- PSPC
- Emergency Exit hallway and storage area
All lobbies and washrooms (4 floors)
Penthouse, mechanical room, electrical and data rooms, etc.
All emergency exit lights(signs) to be replaced with new running man lights.
NOTE: Vacant areas will not be addressed in this project.

Confirmation of intent to attend optional site visit must be sent by email a list of attendees to Shelley.Demont@bgis.com no later than 2:00 PM AST/ADT, on the business day prior to the Optional Site Visit.
A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
