Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
There are three MCC units in the building to be replaced. MCC#1 is located in the P1 electrical room and serves parking garage fan units and capacitor banks. MCC#2 is located in the penthouse and feeds the mechanical fans, AHUs and pumps. MCC#3 is located in the mechanical penthouse and feeds the mechanical chillers and pumps. MCC#3 is fed from emergency power. Some of the pumps fed from MCC#2 are being replaced and will be upgraded with VFDs as part of a separate mechanical project occurring concurrently with this work. A new electrical distribution panel will be installed to supply these pumps.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Site. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by Oct 19, 2020 before 2PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
