Description

Demolish existing ceramic tile and step nosing in Main stairway serving 4 floors and dispose of site in a safe manner. Install new slip resistant Ceramic Tile finish at stair risers treads and landings including required contrasting colour leading edge and tactile surfaces. All new stair finishes to meet accessibility requirements of 2015 NBC, latest CAN/CSA B651 accessibility standards and provincial amendments, meeting the most stringent of the above. Scope of work also includes the replacement of existing deteriorated contrasting colour stair nosings at two additional emergency stairwells in the building.

Confirmation of intent to attend optional site visit must be sent by email a list of attendees to Shelley.Demont@bgis.com no later than 2:00 PM AST/ADT, on the business day prior to the Optional Site Visit.
A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
