Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions (Brookfield GIS) is issuing this notice to advise of our upcoming Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) for Consulting Services. The purpose of the RFSO is to solicit information and rates for projects in the National Capital Region for Government of Canada Facilities., primarily in crown owned properties for PWGSC and their Other Governmental Departments (OGD’s) who have opted into the RP-1 contract.
This RFSO is to supplement our current rotation for consulting service (VOR) which will be for projects of lower complexity and values up to $25,000.00. The resultant rotation for this RFSO will be for medium to high complexity projects with an estimated consultant value of up to approximately $300,000.00. Projects greater than $300,000.00 will follow an open tender, two stage procurement process.
Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions intends to issue individual projects, on a rotational basis based on the selected pre-qualified consulting firms and enter into separate formal agreements, with the successful and qualified consulting firm for required consulting services based on each individual project.
The estimated construction value for the National Capital Region is valued at $80 million, over the next 12 months. The consulting value of that work is estimated to be as follows:
- 70 projects valued at $1.6 million of tender ready work (predesign to construction drawings), potential to continue work in the following fiscal year.
- 55 projects valued at $350,000.00 for inception to close out.
- 150 projects $3.8 million (study only)
- 300 Miscellaneous occupant driven projects (valued at approximately $1 million)
All work required for the scope of this RFSO will be in the following consulting disciplines:
- Mechanical/Electrical
- Roofing
- Architectural
- Design (integrated team)
- Design (predesign and functional programing only) – This requirement will be tendered separate from this RFSO
