GOC2331936-2-CT - Domestic Water Supply Piping Replacement - Construction Services

Scope of Work/Overview:

The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials and equipment to complete the statement of work, including all afterhours labour for any noisy, interruptive, intrusive work involving hazardous materials, or any work with interruption to water usage.

Work comprises of, but not limited to, the following:

1. The removal and replacement of domestic hot and cold-water piping to plumbing fixtures where water will be consumed, namely sinks and lavatories.
2. Replacement and modification of existing dual check valve assembly and water entry station.
3. Replacement of existing water meters, with digital readout and connection to DDC, namely water entry meter WM-1 and the boiler water make up WM02.
4. Addition of water meters to the domestic hot water systems, Post Office hot water heater and main building domestic hot water heater.
5. Addition of water meter downstream of the water filtration system to calculate water drained due to backwash cycle of filtration system.
6. Addition of temperature sensors on water main, and domestic hot water from domestic hot water tanks.
7. Addition of Ph filtration system (three [3] tanks for redundancy).
8. Full hazmat abatement work must be included in the base bid in accordance to the Hazmat Plan.
