Description

Implement Arc flash recommendation identified in the study conducted in 2013 at CD Howe Facility. Replace main breaker on the 8th floor and replace 5 FPE panels due to the inadequate interrupting rating and the age of theses panels which puts them near the end of their expected service life.

    Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 of the ITT. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at CD Howe, 240 Sparks Street, Ottawa ON, BGIS office, Commercial Level1 (C1). Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Abeera.Akram@bgis.com by date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 of the ITT to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site

    Please be sure to wear all approptiate COVID PPE including masks as it is mandatory at all times.
