GOC3691892,1893,1894,1895,1896,1897,1899,1900 CS - CBSA Solar Photovoltaic Program Install - CS

The intent of this project to install solar photovoltaic panels and ancillary equipment (inverters, racking, etc.) on site to produce electricity for use at the facility. This project should consider the installation of solar photovoltaic panels on the building roof, and/or mounted on the ground within the site boundary. Preference to fixed mounted array to minimize moving parts and related maintenance/failure, however options may consider other mounting options if proven to be durable.

Site assessment should be conducted for solar analysis, electrical and structural analysis, and financial analysis. The consultant needs to review both stand alone and grid-connected systems with net metering/billing available to balance hourly differences between facility electricity demand and system generation, as well as energy storage (batteries). Modeling of all the proposed solar PV systems is required such that potential electricity generation, GHG reduction and cost savings can be accurately determined. The results of the model simulation will be used in the life-cycle cost analysis.  The installed capacity/size of equipment, electricity generation potential, risks, implementation costs and maintenance costs shall be assessed as part of this project.
