Description

Remove existing shingles and dispose of site as per Waste Disposal specification. Inspect existing sheathing for water damaged/dried-out spots and replace as required. Install new synthetic underlayment and 50-year architectural shingles over existing two and a half storey building - area of main building is approximately 1,007 square meters. This project includes the detached double bay garage. Install new ice & water shield over edges, ridges and valleys. Install new drip edge flashings and inspect roof vents/gable end vents and replace as required. Inspect existing condition of fascia, flashings, gutter and downspouts for deterioration and/or damages and replace as required. Replace any existing vent boots with new and seal around all penetrations. Lap and seal ice & water shield over flashing for continuous water barrier. Due to high winds all new shingles to be nailed down with at least 5-6 nails and installed at appropriate weather conditions, as recommended by manufacturer for high winds application. Clean all gutters and downspouts from any construction debris at completion.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups.
Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.
