Description

As per the recommendations from the AHU-10 RETURN FAN INVESTIGATION report (GOC2207323) replace existing fan the 9th floor. Remove existing insulation and replace with acoustic plenums over return air grille. Supply and install 2 additional return air grilles in corridor. The existing AHU return fan serving the 9th floor is causing the ceiling tiles to vibrate and lift up near the return air intake of the AHU in the corridor area. Moreover, the fan produces a high level of noise when it reaches a certain speed trying to accommodate the load.
