Description

Work of this Contract comprises replacement of fire alarm system, decommissioning and removals of existing system.
Work includes but is not limited to the following:
1. Provide new fire alarm system.
2. Work shall be implemented while the building is occupied without disruption to normal operations or safety risk to occupants.
3. Provide all new equipment, system supervision and monitoring connected to existing systems during construction.
4. Complete systems testing, verification and commissioning.

All work must to be completed by March 4, 2022

Event Note

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Back-Parking Lot to 505 Fourth Street S., Cornwall Armouries. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to (procurement specialist’s email) by June 18, 2021 at 4:00 PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.
