Firms wishing to attend the mandatory site visit must complete in full the Site Access Pre-Registration form and submit to procurement.carlingtunneys@brookfieldgis.com

Successful contracting firm will be required to have their onsite personnel attend a mandatory site safety orientation prior to commencing any site activity. All onsite work personnel for the successfully contracted firm provide a current valid proof of WHMIS and Fall Arrest Training for each person .Each must at all times wear the following PPE: Hard Hat, High Visibility Vest, Eye Protection, 6” Safety Boots and Full length pants and sleeved shirt.

Bidders and their subcontractors must have previous projects similar in scope, construction value and work environment and possess the qualifications required to specialize in roofing work of the nature of this project. See Section 1.5 of tender Specifications.

All Respondents interested in participating in this tender requirement are to register in advance by emailing a completed version of the Ellis Don Security & Life Safety Pre-Registration Access Form (uploaded on Merx) to procurement.carlingtunneys@brookfieldgis.com by July 29, 2016 at 10:00 am.
Each firm will be limited to a maximum of two (2) attendees for this showing.
Minimum security screening level of Reliability (issued by CISD) is required to access the construction site. Escorting of un-cleared personnel is NOT permitted.

Firms failing to pre-register within the stipulated time frame may not be granted access to the site on the date of the job showing and therefore not able to submit a compliant bid.

Respondents who have pre-registered must attend a mandatory site meeting. Respondents are to meet Anthony Savasta at the Building 2 Security Trailer at the Carling Campus, 3500 Carling Avenue Ottawa Ontario. See site map for parking and entrance directions. Bidders will require government issued photo ID to sign in with security and to sign the mandatory Site Visit Attendance Sheet.
Only pre-registered personnel will be granted access.
The following PPE must be worn to attend the job showing:
1. Hard hat
2. Safety glasses
3. 6 inch high steal toe boots ( Green triangle tag)
4. High visibility safety vest
5. Long pants and sleaved shirt no dresses/shorts
6. No cut off shirts
