GOC359306-SAM-RFQ - Construction-Replace Waterproofing Assembly & Heating Cables at Front Entrance a

2YR project with Plans and Specifications in the 1st year and implementation in the 2nd year. Replace waterproofing deck membrane, imbedded heating cables and insulation above the membrane, and replace pavers at main entrance portico and stairs, as recommended in the Portico Condition Report dated Oct 22 2014 submitted under PW008978. The space below the front entrance stairs should be assessed under this project. Assessment of heating cables completed under PW008978 (see attached) show cable failure on ramp and landings at base of stairs and other locations. Assessment should be completed again to determine current failure status. Matching pavers may no longer be available; consultant to investigate and recommend options. Ramp upgrades to include railings and other upgrades identified in attached PWGSC Accessibility Considerations report.
