GOC375960-DUR-RFQ - Consulting Services - Replace Roof

Replace 10 roof sections of mechanically fastened PCV roof which are thought to have been installed around 1992. A Visual Roof Condition Assessment completed on August 28, 2013. Project intent is to produce plans and specifications prior to February 2017; tender in spring 2017; and complete during summer months. Generally there are numerous punctures in the membranes, delaminated membranes along wall flashings, improperly sealed membranes; core cuts revealed '100' wet reading in the insulation on two sections, there are deteriorated sealant and areas of debris and vegetation around roof drains and perimeter walls. Failure of the roof on the east penthouse created extensive damage to the limestone block exterior of the penthouse due to water infiltration. Repairs to limestone to be completed in 2016-17 under related project GOC450694 - coordination of work to avoid constructor issues may be required by both project teams.
