Description

The following three projects are being tendered together and awarded to one contractor as a lump sum. The selected contractor will be asked for breakout pricing for each project.

Project: Replacement of the Sump Pump in the Parking Garage
Project No.: GOC3492992-CT

Replace existing duplex sump pump with 100 GPM flow rate and 24 feet head along with its control panel and 4 float switches.
The new control panel of sump pumps needs to be connected to the existing DDC system.

Project: Install Backflow Preventer for Main Water Distribution
Project No.: GOC3492994-CT

Provide new backflow preventer with outside rising stem type.
New backflow preventer must be properly cleaned and disinfected prior to installation.
Provide flushing inside the mechanical room upon completion.

Project: Domestic Water Booster Pump Replacement
Project No.: GOC3492995-CT

Replace existing domestic booster duplex pumps with 75 GPM flow rate and 50 feet
head along with its control panel model to support 600 volts, 3 phase, 2 HP. New
booster pumps must be properly cleaned and disinfected prior to installation. Existing control panel of booster pumps is connected to the DDC system and the new
control panel needs to be reconnected after installation of new pumps. Provide flushing inside the mechanical room upon completion

Event Note

Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Jan.Dietrich@bgis.com by January 5, 2022 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site.

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the site visit. Job walk will be conducted in groups to limit the size of group and to maintain physical distancing. Masks must be worn for the duration of the site visit.

Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the Site - 9755 King George Boulevard, Surrey BC (Please meet at East Post Security Desk).
