Brookfield GIS Workplace Solutions Inc. (“WSI”) invites submission for Contractor Qualification of General Contractors acting as Prime Contractor to perform the Work required to complete the demolition, addition and renovations to an existing RCMP detachment located at 7355 Columbia Street in Port Hardy, British Columbia with a preliminary project estimate value of $1,500,000.
The purpose of this Request for Qualification is to select Qualified Contractors for an Invitation to Bid for the following Work:
Construct a +/- 200 sqm addition including renovations to the existing detachment. The Project Work Area is confined to the Administration wing of the detachment only with minor upgrades to the Cell Block area.
Construction consists of wood frame and concrete foundations to match existing and includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition to existing detachment, addition of new washrooms and locker facilities, HC washroom, Janitor Room, Break Room, open and enclosed Offices, Gym, Meeting Room and other support spaces. Exterior Site Improvements are also included in scope.
Project comprises Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Technology disciplines.
In order to meet the mandatory requirements of this RFQ, Proponents must have a Site Superintendent who hold a current and active RRS Security Clearance for RCMP access. It is the expectation of Brookfield GIS WSI that the Site Superintendent is the individual who will be the 100% full time onsite representative of the General Contractor.
