Statement of Work/Overview:
1st Floor HR Dept. Retrofit
 
Scope of work includes but not limited to:
Provide all labor and materials to remove a section of drywall between 2 columns. Make good the remaining  sections of drywall by patching and painting where required. Once drywall is removed, repair section of floor and install carpet tile. Disconnect the existing power supply to the nearest junction box, and as per details indicated on consultant drawings. NOTE, contractor is only responsible for electrical power. Voice/Data will be the responsibility of client’s own forces.
Contractor to also remove section of demontable wall partition (remove panel with door), and fill in with matching panel (to the best of the contractors ability). Alternatively, if a similar panel is not able to be sourced, contractor is to provide separate price (in Attachment 8) for the full removal and re-installation of a new demountable wall (that will match existing wall’s size and thickness). Refer to consultant drawing (A-8) for more details on demountable wall system.
Removal of the existing card reader will be completed by client’s own forces. However, contractor will be responsible for making good drywall after card reader removal.

Addendum #2
Clarification:
1. As per earlier communication via the RFQ documents and indicated during the site walk‐through, there is no
further information available to provide bidders regarding the existing systems furniture wall/demountable
partition currently on site. Contractors are to proposed best suitable replacement of door (via a solid panel)
and provide a price to supply and install new (as per Separate Price No. 1). It is the contractor’s discretion to
proposed best replacement of wall for this separate price. This can be via a systems furniture solution or a
demountable wall solution. Reference drawing A8 for sizing and thickness required.
