Description

Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions intends to replace the existing roof and roof top mechanical units at the Macoun Centre, 1770 Pink Road Gatineau.

The scope will include:

The removal of the existing roof system. Approx. 12,935 m2.
The removal and proper disposal of all roof top mechanical units and fans.
The infill of openings where redundant mechanical units have been removed.
The supply and installation of a new roof system.
The supply and installation of new mechanical units and fans as well as the modification of the existing ductwork, electrical systems and controls associated with the new units.
The supply and installation of steel members to reinforce the existing roof structure and infill opens from the removal of redundant mechanical units.

This procurement is for inspection during construction of:

New roof installation inspections
Structural Steel and welding inspections
Paint inspection on structural steel elements
