Statement of Work/Overview:
Design and specify the relocation of a flag pole and design for safety rails at roofs edge

Scope of work includes but not limited to:
Consultant is required to design for the removal of the existing flag pole and base attached to the metal roof, and design for a more secure/supported flag pole.
The consultant is also required to re-design/engineer for a safety rail at the roof line (where the flag is), in order to make safe any work/maintenance on the pole or the flag itself. The existing pole leaks through the floor space below, and is crooked. Where the flag penetrates the metal roof, there is no support base on the underside. The existing pole could cause premature failure of the roof at the pole location due to the movement of the pole during high winds.
The consultant will prepare drawings and specifications (as necessary) in order for eventual physical work to be performed by an awarded contractor.
