GOC3690965-CT - Water Fountains Replacement

This project seeks to upgrade existing devices and implement accessible and touchless features in an effort to support occupant comfort and satisfaction with their workplace. These implementations also align with sustainability strategies in water savings, green building strategies and reducing the Covid risk.
This project is initiated to replace water fountains in Lester B Person Building 125 Sussex Dr,  Ottawa On, K1A0G2 on all floors as identified within the Plans and Specifications provided by Civitas Group. All existing water fountains currently do not possess touchless features, accessibility and barrier-free requirements or water bottle filling options. Water fountains shall also meet accessibility requirements.
Contractor should note:
Any signage required as part of the SOW must also be in both official languages if not already specifically identified within the Tender Drawings and Specifications. 
Contractors are responsible to engage BGIS Operations team for all system bypasses. Information and requirements will need to be identified on all Work Permits.
All fountains will require a water test prior to construction start and again after the new unit is installed as part of the commissioning. Contractor to carry the cost of Potable water testing. SOW and all required guidelines are attached. Final testing can be done in phases based on number of units completed. We can phase them to be tested minimum of 5 at a time.
Contractor will carry a $5000.00 allowance to supply water bottles for each unit while not in operations. It will be the contractor responsibility to provide receipts and to ensure that the supply is always available to the clients while each unit is down.
Halocarbon decommissioning checklist and service log is provided to the contractor as attachments.
Contractor is responsible for completing the BGIS CMMS Data Collection Forms.
