Description

The petroleum tank needs to be repaired as per the report completed in October 2015. The vent pipe is cracked which is causing water to infiltrate into the tank. Due to a high risk of water mixing with the fuel oil in the combustion chambers, this can cause mechanical failure in the engine block which could cause the loss of the building emergency support system. This is a requirement to meet all codes, regulations and standards such as the National Fire Code and the Installation code for oil-burning equipment (B139-09) amongst others.
