GOC555380-PAL-RFP - Consultant Services - Consultant Review of Rm. 120

Statement of Work/Overview:
Review Rm. 120 of 1050 Notre Dame Ave.,(Sudbury Taxation Centre) and recommend design solution to meet client’s requirements. Produce tender ready drawings for contractor procurement, including mechanical and electrical sub-consultant drawings. Interior Designer to be “Prime Consultant”.
 
Scope of work includes but not limited to:
Design to include office space for minimum of 18 employees. The consultant will propose multiple "test-fit" scenarios for office layout. In addition to employee office space, design should include at least 1 meeting room ideally for "one-on-one/break out" meetings. All new office space and meeting room(s) must be in accordance with Workplace 2.0 standards (*NOTE: Workplace 2.0 Guidelines will be given to the successful proponent upon award). The consultant must look into opportunities to bring sufficient lighting into space given the fact Rm. 120 is in the basement, as well as proposing a raised floor for IT and power infrastructure to run within the floor itself. Design should include electrical, HVAC, fire safety/building codes, proper egress, room occupant capacity, meeting room equipment suggestions (i.e. integrated projection system) and plans and specs to initiate project the following fiscal year.
