Description

Scope of Work/Overview:

Provide a Base Bid Price for the removal of existing and supply and install of a new operable partition wall in Classroom/Training Room 200/201 located on Level 2. Work is located at the Taxation Data Centre, located at 1050 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury ON.
The existing partition wall is to be removed and replaced with a new manual operable wall. The new wall will provide acoustic properties to the two computer rooms once the wall is opened (extended). Terminate communication and power cable currently situated in the fixed wall at the nearest junction box within plenum space. Modify any mechanical services and bulkhead affected by the installation for the partition wall. Modify the suspended ceiling to accommodate the installation of the new partition wall. The contractor is to determine the composition of the flooring, thickness and reinforcement details for the anchor details. The contractor is to survey work area before commencing work and to co-ordinate with the engineer for any construction interferences and discrepancies.
Refer to consultant generated plans and specifications for further detailed scope of work.

Event Note

Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.
Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 in ITT document. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the building (1050 Notre Dame Avenue, ON). Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by 3:00 pm, October 5, 2022 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.
COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
