Description

The purpose of the proposal is to quantitatively compare strategies for 615 Booth Street. The consultant shall consider various strategies and establish an opinion of probable cost and revenue including:

  • The viability and likely income from leasing the property in its current state (within and outside government)
  • The viability and expected proceeds from selling the property in its current state.
  • The cost of a minor retrofit/investment to activity-based workplace fit-up standards and the likely income from leasing the
  • property in the upgraded state as well as the likely sale value or leasing of a building upgraded to those specifications.
  • The disposal cost of the building including delineating it from 601 Booth St.
  • The impact to 601 and 615 from the delineating.
  • The ongoing holding cost of the building; and propose operational cost reduction.
  • The consultant to provide recommendation of strategy.
  • Greening/sustainable options with substantial payback.

    Please arrive early to get through Security. Photo ID and clearances are required. Bidders are advised that there will be an MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date specified within item 1.4.1 of the RFP Lite. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Project Manager Shannon Knowlton at the security desk of 615 Booth Street, Ottawa, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they MUST preregister via email to priyanka.pai@bgis.com by the date mentioned above, before 2:00 PM to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site.
