GOC417810-RFP-SHI - Consulting Services-Relocation and Fit Up of CSC, ESDC and CRA

Statement of Work/Overview:

1. Conduct an investigation and prepare a DSS (Designated Substance Survey) report identifying all designated substances within scope of work area, identify the type/level of abatement required, the necessary abatement strategy plan; that is to include the phasing of abatement work within the building in conjunction with BGIS Property Manager/Health & Safety and Environmental to provide access for continued operations of building services, occupants safety, and minimize overall disruption to Contractor on how work can be completed within the identified conditions, the necessary building shutdowns and other service interruptions, and provide a Waste Management Plan of how the asbestos containing materials will be disposed of.
2. Perform inspection and testing of materials, testing of any enclosures, pre abatement and post abatement air sampling/monitoring, issuing of abatement activity completion reports and monitor disposal of manifests (price per inspection).
3. Allow for 5 site meetings and/or town hall presentations. It is expected that the successful bidder will present all findings and reports at these meetings. The first town hall meeting/presentation is scheduled to take place Monday, December 5, 2016. It is expected that the report is completed in advance of December 5, 2016.
4. The following areas require investigation: First Floor West Side and Basement.
5. Coordinate with BGIS and Prime Consultant Hay Design.
