Description

The ''Touchless Devices and Features Implementation'' projects were created to provide touchless and antimicrobial products that will improve touchpoints and the way occupants utilize spaces that is specific to the building's requirements. Based on previous studies, products and solutions have been recommended to determine the necessary upgrades needed to provide additional health and safety to occupants for reoccupancy of the building. By upgrading existing building elements to touchless activation or antimicrobial properties, this will reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and any potential harmful diseases.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, hard hats, safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Bidders are advised that they MUST pre-register via email to chady.moussa@bgis.com to be authorized to access the site. Failure to pre-register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.

Additional Bidding Instructions

BGIS would like to bring your attention to the following section of the RFP Lite. The limit of pages that will be evaluated for this project is 9 pages. Any bid response that exceeds the 9-page limit will only have the first 9 pages of the submission evaluated.

3.3.1 Proponents shall respond to the Mandatory and Rated Requirements outlined in Part 4 – Proposal Submission Requirements and present their Technical Proposal in the format specified and in compliance with the page count stated in table 4.9 “Total Page/Weight”. Information provided on pages beyond the stated limit will not be reviewed and evaluated. BGIS will count from the first page of the Technical Proposal (excluding Mandatory Requirements) until the total number of pages allowed is reached. BGIS will not review any pages that exceed the limit. Mandatory requirements should be submitted as the first document(s) in the Technical Proposal but shall be excluded in the page count.
