Description

Add visual signals to the fire alarm system throughout all facilities. Visual signals are a code requirement. Related work being done at this facility in current FY is GOC388102 Add Exit Signs.
•Consultant will need to determine if the existing bells can just be replaced by horn/strobes without any additional wiring being done.
•Or will the whole system need to be replaced?
•Is the existing panel (Simplex 4100ES) compatible with the new devices or will there be upgrades required?
•Does the current layout of bells meet the new code requirements and if not how many additional devices are needed and where?
•This project, being a life safety system, consultant needs to ensure that it is installed, tested, verified correctly.
