GOC333258 (Implementation) - Contractor Services - Storage Tank Deficiencies Study

Statement of Work/Overview:
The project consists of the replacement of two existing fuel oil storage tanks and accessories for the emergency power generator for the building. The two tanks consist of the fill tank in the basement and the day tank in the mechanical penthouse.
 
The fill tank is being replaced with the same type of tank (size and manufacturer) and so there is little change required to the existing associated piping and support structure. A new electronic monitoring system is being added during this project, with future plans to connect it to the Building Automation System (BAS) that will be installed at a later date.
 
The day tank is being replaced with a different tank (to match the basement tank) with similar volume, but different dimensions and configuration. This means that the existing support structure will need to be removed and replaced, and there will be some modifications to the piping for the tank. A new electronic monitoring system is also required for this tank, which will also be installed in this project and connected to the BAS at a future date.
