Description

This project is initiated to find an alternative way to support the following cafeteria equipment before the steam supply to the
building is terminated as part of the ESAP project.
The equipment listed below operates on steam:
4 - Soup Kettles
1 - Vegetable Steamer
The consultant shall carry out detail site survey of the above equipment and related systems and services and implement
solutions that ensures the equipment continues to operate without steam. The consultant shall provide alternate solutions and
replace equipment with new if needed. Electrical option for an alternative method of power should be used.

Event Note

Please meet BGIS Project Manager at the security desk of LESTER B. PEARSON BUILDING A, 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, ON. Bring valid ID, face mask and PPE.
Proponents are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 2.6.15. of the ITT Document.. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and face mask. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Proponents are advised that they MUST preregister via email to anne.ethier@bgis.com by the date specified within the item 2.6.15. of the ITT Document, to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site.

BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
