Description

Replace seventeen (17) existing water fountains and replace with water fountains that provide a water bottle refill capability. Potential ACM abatement during removal and installation would need to be evaluated as part of this project.
The consultant shall carry out detail site investigation of existing fountains and also ensure that the domestic water pipes and drains are in good working order. The consultant shall provide hands-free options within the water coolers where possible. Consultant to follow the drinking fountain performance specification and provide as requested.

Event Note

Please meet BGIS Project Manager at the NATIONAL LIBRARY & PUBLIC ARCHIVES, 395 Wellington St, Ottawa, ON. Bring valid ID, face mask and PPE.
Proponents are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date specified within the item 2.6.15. of the ITT Document.. A maximum of one representative of each Proponent, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit.

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety shoes/boots, hard hats, safety glasses, and face mask. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

Proponents are advised that they MUST preregister via email to anne.ethier@bgis.com by the date specified within the item 2.6.15. of the ITT Document, to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Proponent’s Representative being refused access to the site.

BGIS will contact all Proponents that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
