Additional Bidding Instructions

Bids submitted at $100,000 or greater shall include the following bid security (“Bid Security”):
i. a bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date; and
ii. a confirmation from the Bidder’s surety that, upon the Bidder being selected as the Selected Bidder, to furnish any contract security prescribed in the Contract in respect of the Work ((a performance bond and labour and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price + Value Added Taxes).
