Description

The project consists of replacing two (2) chilled water bypass valves located in the heating plant at 25 Eddy Street. The valves are motorized butterfly valves, 8in diameter. The current controls are pneumatic and should be replaced to direct digital control (DDC). The contractor is to coordinate valves installation during scheduled maintenance shutdown August 26, 2023.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 above. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the 15 Eddy security sign-in desk room 143 in Gatineau, Qc. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to COVID 19
preventative measures.
