Description

Perform an important repair of the domestic cold water supply and distribution header. The domestic water distribution system is located in the heating plant (level 01 of 25 Eddy). The header is composed of five (5) main distribution branch, controlled by pneumatic Pneumatic valves are obsolete (original) and the piping is showing signs of deterioration (leaks at joints). The project consists of replacing the piping, isolation valves and pneumatic controlled valves (to be converted to DDC) located after the pumping system and before the distribution piping.

Event Note

A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at the 15 Eddy security sign-in desk room 143 in Gatineau, Qc. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to COVID 19 preventative measures.
